High buns and frown lines

I can finally and confidently wear my hair into a high bun. Of course I could have before but it required lot of pins- and they would get lost and appear in the shower the next morning... Nobody likes to lose pins in the shower! 

On a side note, I want to blame life for creating these lines under my eyes, I think (know) when I concentrate on something so hard my mouth and eyes want to frown... I need to remind myself to smile more often.

2013 into 2014 already

its been a while. a lot has happened over a course of a year; still in school but closer to completion, still dealing with the crazy drama at work- however now it's amusing, traded in my fuel efficient car for something that sucks like life out of mpg's, grew the hottest pepper this summer, tried gherkins for the first time ever, starting to like cucumbers, went to some pretty cool concerts and was arms length from the band that grew the distant relationship with my husband together, lost a friend, made a couple new ones, demoted a friend for her wackiness ailments, started a business, closed a business temporarily, and now trying to sell my home.

yep, that's me in a nutshell.... its pretty crazy but i love my life. i like to think i am beating the odds that were presented to me back in 2001 and i am sure he is wondering how i did so well. i see how well he is doing and i thank him each time for the blessings i have been given. i am lucky!
